Sarah Bishop

Since leaving Zimbabwe in late 2007, where she had lived for most of her life, British born Sarah Bishop, returned to painting after a break of nearly 20 years. Joining the art group in Central Portugal was the catalyst she needed to work again with pastels, and return to her earlier love of portraiture and animal studies.

At the same time she started to use watercolours and has concentrated on painting scenes from the countryside and villages nearby.

Some of her watercolours have now been developed into postcards.
