Gerda Tio


Gerda's artistic background in Holland has been ceramic art.

A one year study at the Amsterdam School of Fine Arts gave here the opportunity to express herself in other materials except clay.

When she moved to Portugal she started painting in Barbara Walraven's class in the Alentejo, where she renewed her enthusiasm for painting.

Anka van Dorp invited her to join the Art Club Portugal. This weekly meetings mean a lot to her.
