Caldeirada de Peixe
Fish stew


1 kg fish (whatever available) and shelfish
1 tbsp salt
6 tbsp olive oil
3 onions
2 tins tomato pieces on jus
2 green or red peppers
6 crushed cloves garlic
1/2 teasp nutmeg
2 glasses withe whine
2 or 3 teasp piri-piri powder
Fresh coriander leaves.

Cut the fish into small pieces. Sprinkle the fish and shellfish with salt.
Heat the oil in a pan and stir in the onions garlic and pepper. Cook untill the are soften.
Add nutmeg, piri-piri, whine and tomatoes.
Add the fish after 5 minutes and cook for 15 minutes.
Sprinkle with chopped coriander.
Serve it with rice or bread.
